Present Status of R&D Center

China FAW Group Corporation R&D Center was founded in 1995, is a state level R&D center approved by the National Economic and Trade Commission, National Tariff Bureau and National Customs Head Office.
R&D Center has abundant experiences for design, research, prototyping, test inspection and calculate analysis in the fields of the complete vehicle, body, chassis, engine, component parts, new working process and materials. It is an automotive product research developing , test & inspection base in the China automotive industry.
R&D Center covers land area of 355,000 square meters and building area of 130,800 square meters. Now the Center is possessed of 1340 technical staff including 19 staff who have the title of doctor degree, 91 with master degree. The Center also sets up two post doctor working stations. China FAW Group Corporation R&D Center has developed more than 300 vehicle models, completed 1000 scientific and research achievements.
China FAW Group Corporation R&D Center will face challenge in the new century, insist on stressing the importance of the personal ability and the system, invest and develop resources all together, carry out international and domestic cooperation all together, and realize a big leap forward for its own development.
